A delegation of IT officials from the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB) and the National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) was in Ljubljana, Slovenia participating in a technical training programme on the National Central Electronic Monitoring System (NCEMS).
The training was designed to strengthen the team’s technical capacity to effectively manage, maintain, and support the system. As a critical digital tool for regulatory oversight, the NCEMS plays a key role in enhancing transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency within the gaming sector.
During the programme, the delegation was working closely with the system Consultant through hands-on sessions, practical demonstrations, and in-depth technical guidance. The training covers the system’s architecture, integration framework, and day-to-day operational processes, equipping the team with the knowledge required to oversee its functionality with confidence and precision.
This initiative forms part of NLGRB’s broader commitment to institutional capacity building and digital transformation. By investing in technical expertise, the Board continues to strengthen its ability to supervise modern electronic monitoring systems that improve efficiency, enhance compliance, and support effective service delivery.
Through strategic partnerships and continuous skills development, NLGRB remains focused on leveraging technology to advance regulatory excellence and uphold its mandate.
