Mr. Colin Mutungi Katungi is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in financial management, tax administration, and general administration within government, inter-governmental organisations, and donor-funded projects. Colin brings a wealth of experience in managing cross-functional teams, streamlining financial processes, and implementing innovative solutions which has consistently resulted in improved financial and operational performance, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

He is responsible for providing technical support and guidance in the implementation and appraisal of financial management systems, practices and policies for effective budgeting, disbursement, accountability and utilization of resources of the Board.

Colin is charged with ensuring that proper books of accounts are maintained and oversees the preparations of the financial statements in accordance with the law and the accounting standards. In addition, he ensures that all the assets of the Board are properly managed and well accounted for. He also supports and coordinates internal and external audits, follows up on the audit queries and leads the implementation of the audit recommendations.

Colin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Makerere University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Uganda Management Institute and another Postgraduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue Administration of Uganda Revenue Authority Training School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
