Ms. Evelyn Akuha is a highly experienced Human Resource professional who serves as the Human Resource Manager at the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB).

She leads the Board’s human capital function, overseeing critical areas such as recruitment, staff development, performance management, and organizational culture. Her strategic guidance ensures that the Board not only attracts top talent but also fosters an environment where employees are empowered to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mandate.

With a human resource management career spanning over 15 years, Ms. Akuha brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in public sector HR practice. Her expertise lies in aligning HR strategies with institutional goals, nurturing staff potential, and promoting a values-driven workplace culture.

Ms. Akuha holds a Master’s in Management Studies (Human Resource Management) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, both from the Uganda Management Institute. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Makerere University.
