The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board Hosts Namibian Delegation for Benchmarking Exercise.
The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board led by the Board Chairman, Mr. Aloysius Mugasa Adyeri, Rt. Honourable Margaret Nantongo Zziwa and Nalongo Rebecca Nassimbwa recently hosted a delegation from the Gaming Board of Namibia for a benchmarking exercise. The visit focused on the establishment and management of a National Lottery, culminated in an agreement to collaborate and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for future cooperation.
The Namibian delegation, composed of top officials, arrived with a keen interest in understanding the operational and regulatory aspects of running a successful National Lottery. The Board provided a thorough presentation covering governance, compliance, and revenue generation strategies.
An interactive discussion session followed, where the Board addressed numerous questions from the Namibian delegation. This session facilitated the exchange of valuable insights and experiences, which further enriched the learning experience for both parties.
One of the most significant outcomes of this visit was the agreement to collaborate and sign an MOU for future cooperation. This MOU will serve as a foundation for ongoing collaboration, focusing on training, regulatory frameworks, and operational support.
