The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB) together with Uganda Sports Press Journalists (USPA) convened to discuss Responsible gaming matters.
In order to fulfil its mandate of protecting members of the public from the adverse effects of gaming, the Board sought the partnership and support of Ministry of Health (Mental Health Division) to hold a stakeholder meeting and training with Health Workers and Village Health Teams from Kiryandongo District.
This stakeholder engagement was done in eight learning institutions and six Regional Referral Hospitals in the districts of Masaka, Mbarara, Kisoro, Kabale, Kasese and Kabarole.
The Board held a stakeholder engagement meeting with the top management of Vision group led by their Chief Executive Office Don Wanyama. The main objective for this meeting was to build a strong partnership between NLGRB and Vision Group as a media company in relation to promoting Responsible Gaming.
